Xbox Game Pass Adds Blockbusters This Month Including Assassin’s Creed Mirage and Resident Evil Village

Microsoft is fueling the summer gaming season with a powerhouse lineup for Xbox Game Pass, announcing a stacked list of additions that includes Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Capcom’s Resident Evil Village, and several indie standouts. The June wave is part of Game Pass’ ongoing campaign to offer day-one hits and high-value titles to subscribers across console, cloud, and PC platforms.

Headlining the update is *Assassin’s Creed Mirage*, which hits Game Pass on June 20. A return to the series’ stealth-focused roots, the title earned praise for its tight narrative and condensed open world set in 9th-century Baghdad. For fans who’ve longed for the classic formula of parkour, pickpocketing, and rooftop chases, Mirage delivers a concentrated dose of nostalgia with modern polish.

Also joining the service is *Resident Evil Village*, Capcom’s 2021 survival horror hit that blends gothic terror with blockbuster action. Following Ethan Winters in a chilling Eastern European village, the game has now sold over 10 million copies worldwide. It arrives on Game Pass June 25 and includes the base game as well as the “Shadows of Rose” DLC for Ultimate subscribers.

Indie fans won’t be left out. Titles like *Neon White*, the speedrunning first-person shooter/puzzle hybrid, and *The Bookwalker: Thief of Tales*, a narrative-driven RPG where players jump into books to solve mysteries, will be available this month as well. These additions continue Game Pass’ strong track record of spotlighting unique indie games alongside AAA giants.

The value proposition for Xbox Game Pass remains undeniable. With Microsoft now weaving in major franchises on a monthly basis, the subscription service is not just supporting older classics—it’s showcasing new releases within months of their initial launches. As the ongoing battle for subscription dominance continues, Game Pass’ June lineup reminds players why it remains a centerpiece of modern gaming.

All games will be rolled out incrementally throughout the month, and as always, titles may vary slightly by region and platform. For a full availability schedule, subscribers can check the official Xbox Wire website or the Game Pass app.
