Xbox Game Pass Confirms Blockbuster July Lineup Featuring Elden Ring and More

MelloGeneral Gaming News1 week ago4 Views

Xbox Game Pass is kicking off the second half of the year with a massive lineup that could redefine expectations for the subscription service. Microsoft announced today that a slew of critically acclaimed titles are set to join Game Pass throughout July, including the industry-shaking Elden Ring, Bandai Namco’s action RPG that took home Game of the Year honors in 2022.

The addition of Elden Ring to Game Pass marks a major win for the platform, giving subscribers access to one of the most influential games of the current generation at no extra cost beyond the subscription. Widely praised for its expansive open world, brutally challenging combat, and unforgettable lore crafted by Hidetaka Miyazaki and George R.R. Martin, Elden Ring has sold over 20 million copies since launch and still maintains a devoted player base.

The July Game Pass update doesn’t stop there. Also joining the lineup are the critically acclaimed survival-horror gem Alien: Isolation, the high-octane racing sim F1 23, and indie hit Dead Cells – a roguelike Metroidvania that continues to receive regular content updates. Multiplayer fans can look forward to the addition of Naraka: Bladepoint, a melee-focused battle royale that thrives on fluid movement and intricate combat.

This surge of major titles reinforces Microsoft’s commitment to positioning Game Pass as the ultimate value in gaming. The inclusion of such high-profile games, especially one with the cultural resonance of Elden Ring, signals a renewed push to boost subscriber growth and compete more aggressively in the ongoing streaming and subscription wars.

Players can expect these titles to roll out throughout the first and second weeks of July, with Elden Ring tentatively scheduled to join the service on July 15. Game Pass subscribers on both Xbox and PC platforms will have access, depending on game availability.

If you’ve somehow held off on experiencing the Lands Between, or want an excuse to return for another run, July just gave you 100 reasons to fire up Game Pass.
