Microsoft has officially confirmed that several beloved titles will be leaving the Xbox Game Pass library by the end of the month. The announcement, which came as part of Xbox’s routine monthly update, includes a handful of well-regarded games across multiple genres—sparking disappointment among fans who’ve grown attached to these experiences.

According to Microsoft, the following titles will be removed from Game Pass on June 30: *The Medium*, *FIFA 22*, *Goat Simulator*, *Naraka: Bladepoint*, and *Empire of Sin*. While it’s typical for Game Pass to experience a rotational stream of titles, this month’s selection includes several heavy-hitters, leaving players little more than a week to wrap up their gameplay.

*The Medium*, the psychological horror game from Bloober Team, gained attention for its dual-reality storytelling and atmospheric world design. Its departure may be especially notable for fans of story-driven, narrative games. Meanwhile, *FIFA 22*, arguably the most prominent sports title on the list, remains a staple for football fans who prefer EA’s annual soccer series. Although newer FIFA installments have since launched, *FIFA 22* retains a strong active player base within Game Pass.

Perhaps most surprising is the removal of *Goat Simulator*, the chaotic and absurd sandbox game that has become a cultural icon in its own right. While its sequel, *Goat Simulator 3*, is available on certain platforms, the original remains a favorite among content creators and casual gamers alike.

In standard practice, Xbox offers subscribers a chance to purchase these soon-to-leave games at a discounted rate—typically around 20% off—before they’re removed from the service. It’s a way for fans to retain access to these titles, especially those with save data and achievements tied to Game Pass.
