Xbox Game Pass Set to Lose Ten Popular Titles This Month, Including ‘Persona 4 Golden’

In a surprise announcement this morning, Microsoft revealed that ten games are slated to leave Xbox Game Pass by the end of the month, causing concern among fans of some major titles. Notably, critically acclaimed RPG *Persona 4 Golden* is on the list, along with a mix of indie favorites and big-name entries that have long anchored the service’s diverse catalog.

According to an official Xbox Wire post, these removals will occur on June 30, giving subscribers just under two weeks to play or purchase the titles before they’re gone. The full list includes *Persona 4 Golden*, *Road 96*, *F1 22*, *Spelunky 2*, *Omori*, *The Legend of Tianding*, *Coffee Talk*, *Exo One*, *Raji: An Ancient Epic*, and *Aliens: Fireteam Elite*.

Fans of *Persona 4 Golden*, an enhanced version of the beloved 2008 JRPG, have voiced disappointment across social media, expressing surprise given the game’s strong reception and relatively recent arrival on Game Pass in early 2023. Others were shocked to see narrative-driven indie titles like *Omori* and *Road 96* on the chopping block, both of which garnered cult followings during their time on the service.

Games leaving Xbox Game Pass are typically available at a 20% discount for subscribers wishing to keep them permanently, a silver lining for players midway through their journeys. Still, the pending departure of these distinctive and varied titles underscores the rotating nature of the platform—a reason some players are calling for more advance notice of removals.

This month’s lineup loss also comes during a critical transition period for Game Pass. In recent months, Microsoft has been refining its subscription tiers and evaluating overall value, particularly as competition intensifies in the cloud gaming and subscription market.

As always, Xbox reminds users to follow the “Leaving Soon” section of the Game Pass interface and the Xbox app for real-time updates. While more games will inevitably join the library in July, players hoping to experience standalone gems like *Coffee Talk* or high-energy affairs like *F1 22* are running out of time.
